Recreating Capt. Henry Balfour's Compy. in the 80th Regt of Light Arm'd Foot.
We recreate Capt. Balfour's company of the 80th Regiment during the years 1758-1764. The 80th Regiment of Light Arm'd Foot was the first Light Infantry regiment in the British army. The regiment was raised by Thomas Gage to fight the French and Indians in North America. The regiment was identified by it's non-traditional brown uniforms and "leathercaps."
Our members are located in the states of Michigan and Wisconsin.
